Heritage Shaker Conversion

Project 

To create a retail store within an historic building located in the city of York.

Action

Joy like each of their stores to have a unique character while still being identifiable as part the brand. The inspiration for this store came after research into York’s famous Rowntree family and their Quaker roots. The concept focuses on the stripped back simplicity of Quaker / Shaker design while injecting Joy’s personality through pops of colour.
